Multiple Buildings
The APEX Center is a mixed use, multiple building complex with Office, Retail, Restaurant, Entertainment and a structured parking garage.
The office building was designed over a structured parking deck and planned for two phased construction. The larger 5 story office building was built with the parking deck with steel structure prepared for the second phase of construction of the 3 story office building. Special attention was directed at the Phase 1 / Phase 2 connection between the buildings to accommodate waterproofing and connected circulation at each floor.
Precast concrete panels and larger prefabricated wall construction was developed during design to accommodate construction sequencing and expedited scheduling.
