The relocation of an existing dental practice to reflect the forward-thinking mindset of the principals of the dental practice was the primary driving force behind the design.
The dramatic “folded plate” element provides for a 1 ½-story reception area and locations for building signage. The long vertical windows in the treatment rooms provide natural light while providing views of the natural surroundings.
The orientation of the building on the site is not orthogonal to the street as the building was oriented on the site to take advantage of solar opportunities.
The unique use of traditional siding and panels with reveals provides a texture to the building beyond the overall massing of the building.
